San Diego has a long history of being a great vacation destination. Among the most coveted golf courses in San Diego is the Aviara Golf Club, which is the only golf club in San Diego to be designed by Arnold Palmer. The course and its accommodations are so spectacular that Golf Magazine ranked it as a “Silver Medal Resort.”
Another beautiful San Diego golf course can be discovered at the Vineyard at Escondido. This golf course was inaugurated in 1993 and is very well groomed and maintained. Golfers from around the country flock to this golf course to take in its twelve acres of lakes and three waterfalls.
