The Pinehurst area offers some of the best golf opportunities to be found in the Carolinas. In addition to its excellent, well-maintained golf courses, you can also enjoy a relaxing stay within the amazing accommodations found throughout the area as well.
The Pinehurst Resort offers eight different golf courses. The first course offers a classic layout, with the first nine holes having been built by Dr. Leroy Culver and the other nine being created later by John Dunn Tucker.
If you are interested in a golf course that offers a rolling terrain along with a classic design, you will love course three at Pinehurst Resort. Course two, on the other hand, offers quite a challenge along with its varied terrain. Here, you will encounter wild routing and water features that will infuriate yet entertain you all at the same time.
If you are looking for a real challenge while on a golf vacation at Pinehurst Resort, course seven is a must. Although it is located a mile from the Main Clubhouse, it is worth the trek as it is easily the most dramatic course offered at the resort. The wetlands and other landforms found throughout the course only add to its bold statement.
