| The Aviara Golf Club is the only Arnold Palmer-designed course in San Diego and was named a "Silver Medal Resort" by Golf Magazine. The layout offers breath taking scenery, superlative conditions, in a course that can suit any level of golfer. This course is not an exorbitantly tricky one for the high handicap player but will most certainly prove a worthy antagonist to the seasoned golfer. You will find yourself taking your fair share of uphill and downhill shots due to the frequent elevation changes, furthermore the magnificent flora that lines the fairways has a downside in that if you end up in it, it will cost you a stroke or two.
