| The La Costa Resort & Spa South Course was designed by Joe Lee & Dick Wilson and inaugurated in 1964. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course is not an exorbitantly tricky one for the amateur player and may still test the limits of the masterful Golf Pro. Weekend players will have the least problems with the course's holes 2, 9, and 18. The course is overall amateur friendly, but a worthwhile hint to not getting into trouble on this course is that you should keep in mind that holes 3 and 17 feature a number of ponds off their impressive straight par 5 fairways that are definitely worth keeping an eye out for. On most holes the greens are swift, oversized, and relatively flat and true. Get Quote |
