The Vineyard at Escondido course was designed by David Rainville and inaugurated in 1993. The course is well maintained and groomed, the greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

The course features twelve acres of lakes, three waterfalls, and over 8,000 tons of rock which was trucked in to create the water hazards. The front nine is gently undulating and borders on an absolutely awe inspiring and breath taking virgin natural environmental area which is full of all sorts of wildlife, and should any of that wildlife go ahead and wander onto the course it comes into play as a hazard.

The magnificence of this course is only matched by the entertainment factor of its significant fairway bunkering and the approaches surrounding its greens.
