OXMOOR VALLEY located near Birmingham, Alabama's largest city, also has three courses within the Robert Trent Jones trail system. One of them is called Oxmoor Valley after its location. This courses features picturesque lakes and continues downrange through a narrow valley.

Oxmoor Valley itself was sculpted from the Appalachian Mountains by glaciers and boasts numerous creeks and scenic forests that bloom with color in the fall. It doesn't take a whole lot of imagination to figure out that this is probably one of the RTJ trail's most scenic courses. It is also considered one of the most difficult. There is a short course here too with a Par 54 that offers several elevation changes to make things exciting.

Naturally, after golfing, it's a simple matter to head into Birmingham to enjoy the fine restaurants and available entertainment.
