| HAMPTON COVE represents a grouping of three lovely courses within the Robert Trent Jones statewide trail system as well. They are called Highlands, River and Short, the latter being just what its name implies at Par 54. Like others in the RTJ Trail system, these are not manufactured courses. Instead, they are designed to take full advantage of the natural topography and are somewhat more difficult to play well than many public golf courses. Architect Jones’ talent and experience from designing more than 500 courses is evident here where scenic beauty of the natural terrain makes a day of golfing memorable despite one's handicap.
