| The Pinehurst Resort Course 5 is indelibly intertwined with the Maples now that it is part of the Ellis Maples design. Opened in 1961, No. 5 holds true to a key Donald Ross feature which is of course the beautiful bits of Mother Nature as the best guide in golf architecture. The course has more water hazards to negotiate than any other course at Pinehurst and that will certainly keep your game interesting. What you'll see is a lot of variety in the layout. Whether you are looking at the uphill and downhill of the slopes, left-to-right and right-to-left of the greens, as well as long and short par fours you will be entertained to say the least. Overall, it is a very playable, enjoyable 18 holes that will not disappoint. Get Quote |
