This Sonoran Desert club features two championship eighteen hole courses named after their immortal and thoroughly legendary lead designers, Arnold Palmer and Nick Faldo. The Wildfire Golf Club Faldo Course was designed by Nick Faldo, Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, and inaugurated in 1997.

The Faldo Championship Course opened in 2002 and is a truly sand belt style course that wouldn't at all be out of place in Western Australia around Perth or Fremantle. The fairways are immersed by arid desert terrain and lined with cactuses.

The greens are well oversized (almost around 8,000 square-feet), are very quick, firm, and have a bit of undulation. Given Nick Faldo's concept in building this course, there is no water at all. Western Australia is a dry place!
