The Phoenician course was designed by Jack Snyder & Ted Robinson and inaugurated in 1981 and since, Homer Flint has fairly well fully redesigned these courses. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass, and the greens are easy, deep, but not ridiculously sloped so that the weekend golfer should find them relatively easy to master.

This club is set up in such a way that it has 3 nine hole courses which can be played in any of three different eighteen hole combinations The Canyon Course is the latest course to be built and it backs against the scenic mountain, which is somewhat similar to the design of the older Desert Course. The Oasis Course has more water than the other two and would seem to be at home more in the Caribbean than in the desert!
