Honors: Golf Digest called it one of the 450 best public courses in the country
The Pointe Hilton Golf Club on Lookout Mtn is a sublime course by celebrated designer Bill Johnston and is the home of the Arizona Classic and the PGA Tour's Skill Challenge. This course's back nine is a magnificent design with wide fairways and oversized, fast, flat and emerald greens.

The front nine is built on a hillside and features magnificent desert vistas that go on forever. The front nine has water hazards that come into play on two holes.

The signature hole is 5 with a small bunker on the left fairly out of the way, allowing more latitude for the shorter hitters. The best play is to hit a 5-wood off the tee then have a short iron onto the putting surface.
