The Sanctuary Golf Course at Westworld course was designed by Randall Heckenkemper out of a Bureau of Reclamation's storm water retention area on the sunset slope of Scottsdale's McDowell Mountains with greens which are Tifdwarf and fairways seeded with Poe Trivealis. By and large the greens are in excellent condition, subtle, and great rollers.

Sanctuary at Westworld is the first golf course in Arizona, to be awarded Audubon Signature Status because its design is so friendly to the fragile desert environment. Sanctuary is an entertaining and fun course as long as you exercise some measure of intelligent course management at the holes.

The Sanctuary Golf Course's stone and stucco clubhouse is ready to accommodate you with a magnificent and elegant dining room and a well-stocked spacious golf shop.
