| The Whirlwind Golf Club Devil's Claw Golf Course was designed by Gary Panks and inaugurated in 2000. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course is not an inordinately exacting one for most any recreational player but should prove a worthy adversary to the veteran champion. Recreational players will have their best opportunity at mastering the course's holes 3, 7, 9, 13, 16 and 18. The course is by and large beginner friendly, but a good word to the wise is that you shouldn't discount the fact that the course does have its share of bunkers and ponds amidst the breathtaking desert scenery.
