Honors: #1 Public Course in Phoenix - Sports Illustrated 2004
The Raven Golf Club at Verrado is a superlative course which was designed by the dynamic duo of John Fought & Tom Lehman. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

The gently and attractively undulating fairways are surrounded by a magnificent selection of desert succulents, and play to large, subtle, flat, fast and well groomed greens. Beginners will experience the least trouble with the course's holes 1, 6, 10, 14, and 15 as there is quite a bit more room than there initially appears from the wide open tee-shot landing areas.

The course is by and large an easy one, but a friendly bit of advice is that you should keep in mind that holes 7 and 16 feature a few catch bunkers and ponds to watch out for.
