The course is fun to play due to the very challenging putting surfaces that undulate, making careful putting rather crucial to achieving a nice, low score. The fairways are well maintained and thousands of extremely attractive trees and flowering plants are featured throughout the design.

The signature hole is 7, a 185-yard, par 3, which features bunkers to the left and right. This course is not an excessively demanding one for the rookie golfer and should still test the limits of the gifted player.

Weekend players will be thrilled with the course's holes 4, 8, and 16. The Arizona Traditions Golf Club course is a fascinating course by top designer Dick Bailey who specified the greens and the fairways should both be Bermuda Grass.
