Classic Club

Home to the PGA Tour’s Bob Hope Chrysler Chapionship, the Classic Golf Club course was designed by the great man of golf, the legendary champion Arnold Palmer and inaugurated in 2006. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This is a fairly long, broad and wide course with undulating hills, pot bunkers and water hazards that come into play on many of the eighteen holes.

The signature hole on this course is 12, a 429-yard, par 5, with a waterfall on the right side that crosses the green. The gently contoured greens average about 7,500 square feet in size, and are cut at a maximum height of 1/8 of an inch, which has the result of making them extremely fast and true.

This course has a links-style flavor to it, and the greens are large, fast, hard and putt very true. There are water hazards that come into play eight times.
