PGA West Norman Course
This club has a total of six world-class eighteen hole courses, located adjacent to the majestic desert mountains and offer magnificent views and significant changes in elevation, and is the home of the PGA Tour's Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. The PGA West Norman Course was designed by Greg Norman and inaugurated in 1999. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.
High handicap players will have the least number of hassles with the course's holes 3, 9, and 17. The course is generally a friendly one, the fairways are large and generous, but they do tighten up some as you approach the oversized, hard, subtle, fast, undulating greens.
This course was built on rolling terrain and has a number of mostly dry washes coming into play on seven of the eighteen holes. There are out-of-bounds stakes on many of the holes and several very large trees come into play along the fairways.
