Honors: PGA Club Professional Championship 1992-1993
This club has a total of six world-class eighteen hole courses, located adjacent to the majestic desert mountains and offer magnificent views and significant changes in elevation, and is the home of the Grand Slam of Golf Wendy's Tree Tour Challenge as well as to the PGA 's Tour Qualifying School, and of course was designed by Jack Nicklaus. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course has tree-lined fairways and lakes coming into play on seven out of the eighteen holes. The prevailing wind can also create some interesting conditions at certain times. This is a great course for both amateur and professional who will apply a very specific strategy to playing it at its best, especially the 561 yard 15, which is a par 5 and culminates with a shallow and well-bunkered island green. Both rounds on the Tournament Course end with a spectacular water-crossing shot to the signature 9th and to the 18th double green.
