PGA West Stadium Course

This club has a total of six world-class eighteen hole courses, located adjacent to the majestic desert mountains and offer magnificent views and significant changes in elevation, and is the home of the PGA Tour's Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. The PGA West Stadium Course was designed by Pete Dye and inaugurated in 1986.

The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. The course requires some fairly long drives from the forward tee, strong iron shots and a careful putting touch. There are some multitiered and tiered landing areas, firm, hard, fast tiered and elevated greens, and some rather rough cut greenside bunkers.

The course features thirteen acres of lakes, two waterfalls, and over 7,000 tons of rock which was brought in to create the various water features. The signature hole on this course is 16, a 285-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.
