| Desert Willow Golf Resort Fire Cliff Course The Desert Willow Golf Resort Fire Cliff Course was designed by Michael Hurdzan & John Cook and inaugurated in 1997. The greens are Tifdwarf Grass and the fairways are Winter Rye. This course is not a substantially tough one for most any dilettante player but may prove a worthy adversary to the proficient Golf Professional. Recreational players will have the best shot at conquering the course's holes 2, 6, 9, 13, and 15. The signature hole on this course is 11, a 445-yard, par 5, requiring shots up a dogleg right fairway that was built into the side of the hills. The course's terrain varies significantly in undulation.
