Honors: Future home of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic
SilverRock Golf Resort

The Silverrock Golf Resort was designed by Erik Larsen and inaugurated in 2005. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course has wide open fairways, fast and fairly flat and hard greens, and water hazards coming into play on thirteen out of the eighteen holes. There are quite a few changes in elevation throughout the course.

This course is not an extraordinarily difficult one for the neophyte player but will likely prove a noble antagonist to the consummate Professional. Neophytes will experience the least difficult time with the course's holes 3, 5, 11, 12, and 17. The signature hole on this course is 13, a 457-yard, par 5, which features sand in play right through the entire fairway and up to the approach to the green, which is turtle backed, hard, fast, subtle but very true.

Future home of the PGA Tour’s Bob Hope Chrylser Championship.
