The Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort Course was designed by Ted Robinson and inaugurated in 1995. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

The gently undulating fairways are broad and open, and the greens, are oversized, generous, have a gentle undulation, but a remarkably true lie. This course features very nicely contoured mounds along the sides of the fairways and around the putting.

Three washes run through the course and are considered lateral water hazards. The signature hole on this course is 7, a 291-yard, par 4, with a waterfall on the left side that crosses the green. This course is not a substantially tricky one for the dilettante player but may prove a noble adversary to the expert Golf Pro.
