Desert Dunes Golf Course

The Desert Dunes Golf Course is an extraordinary course by notable designer and golf great Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and inaugurated in 1989. The greens are Poa Annua Grass and the fairways are Tifdwarf Grass. Recreational players will experience the most entertaining time with the course's holes 3, 11, and 15.

The course is truly amateur friendly, but a good hint to not getting into trouble on this course is that you should make a note that holes 3 and 13 feature respectable number of catch bunkers and ponds to the side of their tricky overwater par 3 fairways to watch out for. On most holes the greens are swift, smooth, and great rollers.

The signature hole on this course is 9, a 428-yard, par 5, calling for a tee shot over a water hazard to the green. There is water and sand in play on virtually every hole on this course.
