Rancho Mirage Country Club

The Rancho Mirage Country Club course was designed by Harold Heers and inaugurated in 1982. The greens are Bermuda Grass and the fairways are Winter Rye. Neophytes will be elated by the course's holes 4, 7, 11, 13, and 15.

The course is essentially quite a fun one, but a good clue to playing this course well is that you should be careful that holes 4 and 14 have considerable number of water hazards and cross bunkers to the side of their narrow dogleg right par 5 fairways to try to avoid at all costs.

In most cases the greens are multitiered, well guarded, and oversized. The fairways are wide and open, and the greens are undulating, flat, fast and feature a few that are domed or turtle backed.
