| The Woodhaven Country Club course was designed by Harold Heers and inaugurated in 1984. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course is not an incredibly difficult one for any greenhorn player and will likely still present a challenge to the consummate Pro. High handicap players will have the best shot at mastering the course's holes 3, 7, 12, and 18. The course is overall a friendly one, but a valid hint to not getting into trouble on this course is that you should keep in mind that holes 5 and 11 have quite a few deep bunkers and ponds to the side of their narrow overwater par 4 fairways to try to avoid at all costs. In many cases the greens are flat, subtle, and firm. The meticulously maintained and finely contoured greens average about 8,000 square feet in size, and are cut at a maximum height of 1/8 of an inch, which has makes the green almost incredibly fast and fortunately it putts very true as well. The signature hole on this course is 11, a 403-yard, par 5, is bordered entirely by a desert lake. Get Quote |
