Championsgate Golf Club National Course
The Championsgate Golf Club National Course is a stunning course by star designer and golf great Greg Norman and inaugurated in 2000. Novices will have the least difficult time with the course's holes 4 and 13.
The course is generally speaking user friendly, but a valuable word to the wise is that you shouldn't discount the fact that holes 9 and 16 have some water hazards and hidden bunkers on their broad overwater par 3 fairways to try to avoid at all costs. By and large the greens are undulating, subtle, and oversized.
The signature hole on this course is 5, a 286-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.
