The Carolina National Golf Club course was masterfully designed by the golf great Fred Couples and inaugurated in 1998. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

Beginners will have the easiest time with the course's holes 3, 5, 14, and 18. The course is essentially easy to play, with greens that are oversized, gently sloped, hard, fast and true, and there is a more than average amount of water on this course to keep you entertained and concentrating on your game.

This course also features several stunning scenic views of the surrounding countryside, including lakes, waterfalls, rocks, and many thousands of trees. The signature hole on this course is 13, a 268-yard, par 3, featuring sand bunkers guarding the front of its green.
