| The Wicked Stick Links course was designed by John Daly & Clyde Johnson and inaugurated in 1995. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. A difference in the tee box placements can significantly vary the characteristic of the holes. The back nine is rolling and backs onto a virgin wooded area loaded with wildlife, which you must be aware comes into play as a hazard. No smacking the deer with a ball! A creek flows throughout the course and various water hazards come into play on six holes.The gorgeously contoured greens average about 7,500 square feet in size, and are cut at a maximum height of 1/8 of an inch, which has the result of making them extremely fast and true.
