The Diamond Back Golf Club course was designed by Russell Breedon, and inaugurated in 1999. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

The naturally undulating course plays through some stunning rolling terrain and six ponds which come into play on seven holes. The course requires some fairly long drives from the forward tee, strong iron shots and a careful putting touch.

The width of each fairway varies from somewhat broad to completely wide open, and the fast, hard, but subtle greens are well oversized. The signature hole on this course is 13, a 385-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot over a lake to the green. There are a large number of ponds that are a bit difficult to see and thus are marked by yellow and black flags.
