The Indian Wells Golf Course was designed by Gene Hamm and inaugurated in 1984. The greens and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

High handicap players will have the least difficult time with the course's holes 1, 8, 10, 12, and 15. The course is predominantly fun to play as the fairways are wide and open, and the greens are undulating, flat, fast and feature a few that are domed or turtle backed.

The signature hole is 6, a 484-yard, par 5, which calls for a nice strong shot over a lovely lake to the emerald green which is fairly well guarded with some sand and pot bunkers. There is another eighteen hole affiliated course called Indigo Creek Golf Club, which is situated right beside Indian Wells.
