The Myrtlewood Golf Club offers two eighteen hole courses, the Pine Hills being the other one, and both of them are adjacent to the spectacular Intracoastal Waterway. The Palmetto Course was designed by Ed Ault and inaugurated in 1972.

The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course is not an unusually exacting one for most any amateur player and will most certainly prove a worthy adversary to the seasoned Professional.

Amateurs will have the absolute best time with the course's holes 2, 6, 12, and 15. The course is essentially quite amateur friendly, since overall, the greens are wide, large, and flat and the fairways are wide open and very broad with a good mix of straight and dogleg.
