Honors: Rated 4.5 Stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play" in 2006.
The Tidewater Golf Club course was designed by Ken Tomlinson and inaugurated in 1990. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

The appealingly contoured greens average a gargantuan 10,000 square feet in size, are cut at a maximum height of 1/8 of an inch, and therefore are extremely quick to play. The fairways are large and generous, with deep sand bunkers and expansive landing areas but they do tighten up a little bit as you approach the big, hard, flat or turtle backed.

This course has several water hazards, including waterfalls, swift running creeks, and some extremely gracious ponds. The signature hole on this course is 6, a 261-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot across water.
