The Wild Wing Plantation is a sublime course by formidable designer Willard Byrd and inaugurated in 1992. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass.

This course is not an inordinately demanding one for most any neophyte or weekend player but may prove a more than worthy adversary to the veteran Professional golfer. Rookies will face the least difficult time with the course's holes 3, 6, 10, and 18.

The course is generally speaking exciting to play, but a worthwhile hint to not getting into trouble on this course is that you shouldn't discount the fact that holes 2 and 13 feature a number of ponds and catch bunkers on their narrow straight par 4 fairways to try to keep clear of. Generally the greens are fast, quick, and firm.
