The Doral Golf Resort & Spa Red Course was designed by Raymond Floyd, Jerry Pate and Greg Norman, and inaugurated in 1961. This is a fairly long, broad and wide course with undulating hills, pot bunkers and water hazards that come into play on many of the eighteen holes.

Water is the dominant theme on a large number of of these holes, which will certainly add to the entertainment factor of your game of golf. The greens are fast and hard, but vary widely in size, slope, and undulation.

The signature hole on this course is 18 where mounds line the right side of the fairway, and all the ponds and bunkers are designated by checkered flags, because they are often difficult to see.
