| The Doral Golf Resort & Spa Gold Course was designed by Raymond Floyd, Jerry Pate and Greg Norman, and inaugurated in 1961. The well contoured greens average a very large 7,200 square feet in size, and are cut at a maximum height of 1/8 of an inch, which has the result of making them exceptionally fast. The fairways are wide and broad, and the greens are undulating but generally fast, hard and have a great true lie. The signature hole on this course is 18, a 447-yard, par 5, requiring a straightaway tee shot in order to avoid the water on the left and right sides of the fairway. Get Quote |
