| Red Rock Country Club The Red Rock Country Club course was designed by the great man of golf himself, Arnold Palmer and inaugurated in 1999. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Winter Rye. This eighteen hole layout is desert style in concept, however, it differs significantly from other area courses in that it is mounded up around the perimeter to give the entire course a type of a stadium effect. This also in keeping any errant fairway shots from going astray. The genius of Palmer's design is the idea of maintaining some of the existing rock formations and pre existing drainage channels, thus preventing significant disruption to the local ecology.
