Painted Desert Golf Club

The Painted Desert Golf Club is a spectacular course by star designer Jay Morrish and inaugurated in 1982. The greens are Bent Grass and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. This course is not an extraordinarily tough one for the high handicap player and will prove a noble antagonist to the adept golfer.

Neophytes will be very happy with the course's holes 7 and 14. The course is generally exciting to play, but a worthwhile hint to not getting into trouble on this course is that you should keep in mind that holes 7 and 14 feature quite a few carry bunkers and water hazards to the side of their narrow straight par 4 fairways to watch out for.

Generally speaking, the greens are shallow, quick, and not ridiculously sloped.
