Desert Pines Golf Club
The Desert Pines Golf Club course was designed by Dye Designs International and inaugurated in 1996. The greens are Tifeagle and the fairways are Bermuda Grass. Desert Pines is located just a couple of miles from downtown and about a ten minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip and is one of the city's most enjoyable golf experiences.
Thousands of pine trees line the tournament golf course giving a bit of a Myrtle Beach In The Desert feel which is a bit strange, especially on a hot July afternoon in Nevada. A goodly number of sand bunkers protect well oversized, subtle, undulating greens with water coming into play on ten of the eighteen holes.
This course provides golfers of all abilities an exciting, entertaining and rewarding experience.
